Anissa Latham-Brown is an Emmy Award winning director and producer born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama.

 She also produces documentary content for Red Clay Media. Her short, Missing Magic (2021) screened at film festivals including AFI Docs, New Orleans Film Festival, Sidewalk Film Festival, and DOC NYC. Her work centers around the experiences of Black communities, and has been supported by Firelight Media, Reel South, and the Center for Asian American Media.

Her work centers around telling stories about people of color in the South. When she’s not working, she’s probably listening to a shady podcast or playing with her giant dog, Milo.
